Regional meeting with ROMACTED teams held in Brussels

As part of the Roma Week, a regional meeting was held in Brussels on March 20, attended by members of the ROMACTED team from Strasbourg, as well as Project Officers and Focal Points from each country where ROMACTED is implemented (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro Montenegro, Albania, Kosovo, Northern Macedonia and Turkey).

The purpose of the meeting was to better coordinate between the ROMACTED teams by countries and the Strasbourg team, especially considering that in the coming period a major accent will be put on working with the Roma community. One of the topics at the meeting was the linking of the ROMACTED program with other regional initiatives, such as the Roma Integration project implemented by the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC).

An additional value to the meeting was also the exchange of information among the participants, specifically regarding the implementation of project activities and the mobilization of the Roma community, which will certainly serve in future planning.
