In order to improve the living conditions in the settlement of Vrela Ribnicka, and reduce consequences of the COVID-19 virus, the NGO Mladi Romi signed a contract with the company Zelenilo about building a children’s playground.

In the current circumstances caused by the pandemic, children are forced to spend a lot of time in front of the screen during online learning, they have reduced physical activity.

That is why we believe that the playground is the right place for a nice and adequate leisure time.

The project worth 5,406.91 euros without VAT is conducting through the ROMACTED programme implemented by the Council of Europe and our organization, and funded by the European Commission and the Council of Europe. The works will start soon, and the children who live in Vrela Ribnicka will get a pleasant place to hang out and play.

The ROMACTED programme is funded by the Council of Europe and the European Union, while the NGO Young Roma is a partner organization in implementation. The Programme is implemented in seven countries of the Western Balkans and Turkey, in a total of 64 municipalities, in Montenegro this programme is implemented in 8 municipalities.
