Visit to the Ministry for Human and Minority Rights

Members of the Working group for public activism of youth and representatives of NGO „Young Roma“, visited the Ministry for Human and Minority Rights on 21st June 2019. This visit served as opportunity for members of the Working group to get better knowledge on role of the Ministry, its structure and competencies in the context of protection and improvement of human rights and freedoms.

During active discussion, members of the group got better insight into concrete measures and activities which are being conducted by the Ministry. Particular emphasis was put on Roma, and in that sense, the role of the Department for protection and improvement of situation of Roma and Egyptians. New knowledge and information will be very valuable for the upcoming publication which will contain recommendations related to public activism and improvement of situation of Roma, youth and persons with disabilities.
